Thursday saw D.H. Conley football star and East Carolina signee Holton Ahlers collect another postseason award, this time when he was the lone quarterback on the USA Today ALL-USA North Carolina Football Team. Conley receiver C.J. Johnson, a junior, was named to the second-team.

Ahlers was recently tabbed by The Associated Press as the state’s offensive player of the year. USA Today gave its offensive player of the year honor to Scotland County running back Zamir White.
