Anna Sawyer, D.H. Conley: Batter of the Year

Taylor Bowen, Ayden-Grifton: A .609 batting average had Bowen leading the Chargers this season. She also led the team in hits this season with 42. 

Kate Lancaster, Farmville Central: The Jaguars’ senior leader will graduate after breaking the school stolen base record in three out of four seasons, ending with 112 total, 37 in her final season. She finished with a .500 batting average. 

Lauren Wiles, D.H. Conley: Pitcher of the Year

Kaitlin Uzzell, Greene Central: Uzzell hit for a .470 average in her last season in Snow Hill. She also finished with nine extra-base hits, 27 runs, 31 total hits and 17 stolen bases.

Amya Evans, South Central: The Pitt Community College commit continued to bring the power in her senior season. Of players to see considerable time on the field, she led the Falcons with a .494 batting average, smacking eight home runs on the season to drive in 61 RBIs.

Daly Keele, Greene Central: Keele’s .475 batting average led the Rams this season. Her 26 RBIs also led the team, while she finished second in hits with 28.

Marissa Roach, South Central: Roach was another vital piece of SC’s outfield group, while also playing some at third base. Roach ended her run in Winterville with a .506 season batting average, scoring 48 RBIs.

Madison Deanes, South Central: A vocal leader, Deanes had a .462 batting average, along with 48 runs off 37 hits. Her skill at shortstop played a considerable role in another deep Falcons playoff run.
