Something for everyone?

It is interesting that the The Daily Reflector front page story about "Pitt County's tourism goal: Offer something for everyone" is illustrated with a picture of a beer being served at a brewery.
I wonder what our eight grandchildren would gain from that? We have to drive to Wilson, Rocky Mount, Kinston, Washington, Raleigh to visit children's museums and nature centers. Even WIndsor has a zoo! We have to drive to Washington, Raleigh, Atlantic Beach, Charlotte, Virginia Beach to go skate boarding. We have to visit Raleigh for a Farmer's Market.
On St. Patrick's Day, I took the grandsons to downtown Greenville to discover one small bounce house, one fire truck, one decorated cookie activity, and lots of beer and wine. The man standing beside us had already finished 12 beers. (He was saving his cups so that is the number he was holding in his stack).
So what's for families to do in Pitt County? Mayor Allen Thomas, Greenville, N.C., do you take your children to breweries for family time?
