If you truly and honestly believe in global warming then why are you building back in a flood plain? You obviously...

Are you tired of winning yet?

President Donald J. Trump is sailing into position to be one of the best presidents for the American people in the history of the United States.

Thank you, Jesus, for giving President Trump the strength to withstand the onslaught of over 90 percent negative coverage by the mainstream media. President Trump's willingness to be regarded as having the most praying administration in history certainly shows the fruits of putting God and our Christian foundation first.

President Trump campaigned on America's greatness and about putting America first again in the world. This is something that the globalist, establishment elites, Democrats, and RINO Republicans continue to fight intensely against.

After 20 months of transition from a president who hated America and its greatness to a leader who left his cushy job to battle 24 hours a day for the future of America, we are enjoying the effects of a growing economy. Despite the Democratic-controlled media telling us that everything would crash on election night if Trump were elected, we have seen the exact opposite.

Accomplishments are too many to list here but a few include nomination of conservative Supreme Court justices, strengthening and rebuilding our military, cutting taxes and anti-growth regulations across the board, and stopping the funding of hundreds of millions of dollars to Palestinian terrorist. Hopefully Trump will stop all funding to all terrorist nations — these people can just hate us for free!

America, there is a spiritual battle going on for this nation. We must come together and pray for President Trump and our government just as intensely as we did in 2016. The Democrats are anti-Christian, anti-American, who will not play by the rules and are willing to do and say anything to take down Trump and America.

All Christians need to pray daily for our America!

September is being used to bring awareness to students’ attendance in Pitt County. However, a simple policy change to “incentivize attendance” is not going to fix the attendance issue.

Being a graduate from South Central High School with a none-too-inspiring attendance record…

On Monday Sept. 10, on the front page of The Daily Reflector, there is a large picture taken at the Pitt County Courthouse of many people singing praise songs during the Cover Our Children event.

Right beside it is another picture taken at the Town Common announcing a meeting being held to vote on…

Florence has kept us off the roads and out of traffic, leaving me to think about the type of driving that is becoming commonplace in Pitt County.

Let me be specific and let each of us decide if these characteristics describe our driving style. If so, then be prepared to be targeted and ticketed by…

I was out of state when Sen. John McCain passed away and I just wanted to thank him for being the true American who served his country beyond the call of duty.

I was part of the maintenance crew from Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino, California, that prepared the C-141 cargo airplanes that…

During the summer, while seated in a local eatery waiting to order a bagel, I encountered a stranger who placed my order (gratis).  With my permission, we chatted briefly and shared a few commonalities (one of which was arthritis). As we seperated, I expressed appreciation and left feeling…

For someone to support this president after everything he has said and done must require a boatload of cognitive dissonance and is truly a Faustian bargain.

What if it was your sister whose (expletive deleted) he grabbed and bragged about it? What if Obama said that? If you wouldn't give him the…

Inspiration comes from the oddest places sometimes.

I was reading an IGN article about how Sony refuses to open its PlayStation consoles to cross-platform gameplay for the popular video game Fortnite due to Sony’s longstanding rivalry with Xbox owner Microsoft.

It got me wondering as to why…

Why does Trump show respect to Sen. John McCain only after he dies? We all remember what Trump said about McCain: I only like people who are not captured. McCain was a Navy pilot who was shot down and was a POW for over five years.

This coming from a coward like Trump who would not join the…

As a product of public education and the daughter of a public-school teacher, I wholeheartedly support the Red4Ed movement. Attending May 2018’s march in Raleigh did nothing but reinforce my beliefs in the need for more funding for education, including raising teacher salaries. The sheer…

Hurricanes and dangerous stormwater don’t wait around for elected officials to produce expensive studies for the shelf, kick crises down the road, and ponder political calculations. Greenville has a documented $350 million stormwater infrastructure challenge to avoid dangerous flooding. Dilly…
