GOP voters, shame on you
Wednesday, November 14, 2018
Consider the following Republican presidents: Richard M. Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. Each a two-term, or twice-elected president; each a more disastrous presidency than its predecessor on the list (Nixon posing a threat to the Constitution via Watergate, Reagan posing a greater threat to the Constitution via IranContra, and Bush, who through his lies brought us two illegal, immoral, unnecessary and unfunded wars costing tens of thousands of lives, for nothing).
Now consider another Republican president: Donald Trump. Consider his entire as yet brief but corrupt presidency and especially his despicable response to the racial murders in Kentucky, the multiple mail bombings across the country, and the mass murders in Pittsburgh. Anyone who admits to being a Republican embraces these political leaders who posed, or pose, a serious threat to our Constitution, the rule of law, and minimal human decency. Given all of that, if you voted, either early or absentee, or voted on Tuesday, for any Republican for any elected office, shame on you.
