East Carolina University’s School of Art and Design will host “Is This the World We Created?” through Sept. 23. A reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. today. The exhibit of faculty and graduate student work features ceramics, graphic design, illustration, drawing, metal design, painting, photography, film, printmaking, sculpture and textile design.

“Carolina Colas and Carbonated Treasures” is on display at the Verona Joyner Langford North Carolina Collection through October. Exhibits include vintage advertisements and antique glass soda bottles as well as letters, photographs and local memorabilia.
