The Leroy James Farmers Market vendor of the week is High Hill Hacienda.

Bob and Joan Kelly of High Hill Hacienda, a small farm in Greenville, offer a selection of dried herbs at the market, including culinary herbs and herbs for teas. They also offer a creamy dried carrot soup.

The Kellys are working on growing their planting repertoire with the expectation of bringing more fresh herbs to market next year. They also hope to bring blueberries and muscadine grapes from their farm in Goldsboro next year.

The Leroy James Farmers Market is at 4560 County Home Road. Hours are from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Farmers Market Nutrition Education Program presents a healthy cooking demonstration from 8 a.m.-noon each Saturday.
