ALPHA — An epic adventure set in the last Ice Age, “Alpha” tells a fascinating, visually stunning story that shines a light on the origins of man’s best friend. (1 hour, 36 minutes.) Rated PG-13

BLACKKKLANSMAN — Ron Stallworth, an African-American police officer from Colorado, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan and becomes the head of the local chapter. (2 hours, 15 minutes) Rated R. 

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN — A working-class family man, Christopher Robin, encounters his childhood friend Winnie-the-Pooh, who helps him to rediscover the joys of life. (1 hour, 44 minutes) Rated PG.

CRAZY RICH ASIANS — This contemporary romantic comedy, based on a global best-seller, follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu to Singapore to meet her boyfriend’s family.  (2 hours) Rated PG-13.  

THE EQUALIZER 2 — Robert McCall serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed, but how far will he go when that is someone he loves? (2 hours, 21 minutes) Rated R.

*GOD BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD — While grieving the loss of her husband, a financially struggling widow meets a race car driver. (1 hour, 51 minutes) Rated PG.

THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS — When the puppet cast of an ‘80s children’s TV show begins to get murdered one by one, a disgraced LAPD detective-turned-private-eye puppet takes on the case. (1 hour, 31 minutes) Rated R.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION — While on a vacation with his family, Count Dracula makes a romantic connection.(1 hour, 37 minutes) Rated PG.

INCREDIBLES 2 — Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for the kids while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world. (1 hour, 58 minutes) Rated PG.

KIN — Chased by a vengeful criminal, the feds and a gang of otherworldly soldiers, a recently released ex-con and his adopted teenage brother are forced to go on the run with a weapon of mysterious origin as their only protection. (1 hour, 42 minutes) Rated PG-13.

*SEARCHING — After his 16-year-old daughter goes missing, a desperate father breaks into her laptop to look for clues to find her. (1 hour, 42 minutes) Rated PG-13.
