The Leroy James Farmers Market vendors of the week are Found and Repurposed by Wayne and Creations Especially for You by Jean.

Jean Sokolofski designs greeting cards and shadow boxes and does custom items to celebrate hobbies, weddings, anniversaries. She also offers scrapbooks.

Wayne Heiser takes found objects such as doors, chairs, lamps and windows to repurpose them into one-of-a-kind shelves, benches and lamps. Some of his creations include an outboard motor made into a table lamp, a birdhouse mounted on a shovel and assorted stacks of books made into lamps.

Found and Repurposed also offers unique necklaces, fashioned from sea glass and sea shells, and oil paintings by Heiser’s mother, Carol. Heiser is at the market from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.

The Leroy James Farmers Market is at 4560 County Home Road. Hours are from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, visit www.pittcountync.gov/599/Farmers-Market.
