Concert series features Motown reveiw

The Legacy Motown Revue is set to play the third Concert on the Common at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenville Toyota Amphitheater on the Town Common, 105 E. First St.
The two-hour show is the among five free events offered by Inner Banks Media with cooperation from Greenville Recreation and Parks. Food trucks from Chic Fil A, Rock Springs Catering, Williams Catering and Kona Ice will be on the scene, and the Greenville Junior League will be selling beer and wine.
The band is from the Triad and is managed by musical director and founder Stan Stigall, who toured with the Original Drifters. The review pays homage to the music of The Drifters, The Coasters, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Earth Wind and Fire and The Jackson 5. It features talented performers who dance and sing plus an amazing horn section.
The concert series is in its second year. Coolers and glass are not allowed at the show. Parking is available on and around First Street and at the parking deck at Fourth and Cotanche.
