PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) -- Al Alburquerque got Rusney Castillo to fly out with the bases loaded to end the game, leading the Buffalo Bisons to a 5-4 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox on Wednesday.

The Bisons had three relievers combine to throw five scoreless innings in the victory. Tim Mayza (1-0) got the win with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Ryan Brasier (2-4) took the loss in the International League game.

Buffalo took the lead in the first when Devon Travis hit a two-run home run and Rowdy Tellez scored on a fielder’s choice.

After Pawtucket scored a run in the second on a home run by Sam Travis, the Red Sox went up in the third inning when Castillo hit an RBI double and then scored on a two-run home run by Mike Ohlman.

The Bisons later tacked on a run in both the fourth and ninth innings. In the fourth, Roemon Fields hit an RBI double, while Dalton Pompey hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Fields in the ninth.
