FRISCO, Texas (AP) -- Josh Naylor singled twice, and Logan Allen allowed just three hits over 6 2/3 innings as the San Antonio Missions topped the Frisco RoughRiders 4-1 in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday.

Andres Munoz got Michael O’Neill to fly out with runners on first and second to end the game for his second save of the season.

Allen (9-4) picked up the win after he struck out four and walked one while allowing one run.

San Antonio started the scoring in the first inning when Matthew Batten hit an RBI triple and then scored on a single by Naylor.

After San Antonio added two runs, the RoughRiders cut into the deficit in the seventh inning when Luis Mendez hit an RBI single, bringing home Jose Cardona.

Tyler Davis (1-7) went five innings, allowing four runs and eight hits in the Texas League game. He also struck out two and walked three.

With the win, San Antonio improved to 12-6 against Frisco this season.
