Nov. 7 Bless Your Heart

BYH to the Tropicana of Grifton. I’m very glad that you decided to re-open after Hurricane Florence. Grifton desperately needs a supermarket. You are appreciated!
BYH to that very nice grandmother who is always doing for everyone. She is constantly helping others and so often neglects herself. She needs some extra pampering and love. Don’t wait! Go on and give her the special love that she so deserves.
Bless my heart, thank you to the city for changing out the light bulbs in our neighborhood. The new bright lights make it so easy to see everything on my street and has stopped the rash of car break-ins.
A big bless your heart to a lady named Joanna who helped me at Lidl grocery store on Saturday morning. She went above and beyond and helped me get my groceries packed and into my car and made sure I got into the car safely. Young lady, you are about one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life and you are few and far between. I want you to know how much I appreciate your help and I am going to pay it forward.
Thank you to all the veterans for your service to our country and the sacrifice you made to keep us all safe. I attended the C.M. Eppes Veterans Day festivities and it was great to see our mayor and other elected officials present to thank our community heroes.
BYH, this caravan issue really shows what lengths this modern GOP will go to to whip up fear and loathing in its base, and it is not pretty.
BYH, if the framers saw that our elected representatives spent between 30 and 70 percent of their time just raising money from a tiny tiny fraction of the 1 percent, they would roll over in their graves.
BYH to the libs complaining about Trump’s $2 trillion tax cut where the economic results are undeniable. Obama added $8.5 trillion to our debt, and we were worse off when he left!
If you don't like to be criticized, don't run for a political office.
Bless your heart to the city for trying to triple stormwater fees! That is outrageous!
BYH to the people defending the fee increase for athletics. ECU may be 12th on the list, but guess what? UNC and NC State are 14th and 15th. A good program will pay for itself. Bless ECU's non-athletic heart. if you are losing money make some changes.
Bless your heart to all the rude, disrespectful, loud coworkers some of us have to work with every day.
BYH, I Googled my symptoms. Turns out I “need more guitars.”
BYH, you are far more likely to die from lack of affordable health care than from Islamic terrorists.
BYH, candidates, with Election Day over will you please remove your campaign signs and ads in the DR? Keep the city street corners and yards sign free on November 7!
