A Greenville woman charged with driving while impaired was found asleep at a stoplight, according to Pitt County Court records.

Amber Leigh Baker, 20, of 4280 Stantonsburg Road, was stopped at 1:55 a.m. on April 13 near Farmville Boulevard by the State Highway Patrol. 

According to the report,  Baker had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and was observed swaying when she tried to stand, and stumbling when she tried to walk.  She also had red, glassy eyes. Her blood alcohol level was 0.11.  

Eleven other people also were charged with driving while impaired, according to court records and law enforcement reports available between April 7 and April 14. In other cases, court documents indicate:

■ Mackenzie Leigh Baker, 18, of 106 Pinewood Court, Drexel, was stopped at 7:50 a.m. on April 12 near East Fourteenth Street and Evans Street by the East Carolina University Police Department.  She also was involved in a wreck. She was unsteady on her feet and the officer noticed a strong odor of marijuana. Her blood alcohol level was unavailable.

■ Megan Elizabeth Bromley, 21, of 11 Kendra Drive, Milton, was stopped near U.S. 264 Alternate and Old Pactolus Road by the State Highway Patrol. Bromley had red, glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol on her breath, had slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet. Her blood alcohol level was 0.15. 

■ Alicia Noel Clemmons, 33, of 1108 Cypress St., Tarboro, was stopped at 10:45 p.m. on April 13 near U.S. 264 and N.C. 33 by the State Highway Patrol. Her blood alcohol level was 0.08.

■ Treveon Rashawn Crawley, 20, of 1500 Manning Road, Greenville, was stopped at 2:24 a.m. on April 13 near N.C. 43 by the State Highway Patrol.  He also was cited for going 66 mph in a 45 mph zone.  He had red, glassy eyes, was swaying and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. His blood alcohol level was 0.09 

■ Rodrigo Castillo Hernandez, 38, of 615 Keith Drive, Greenville, was stopped at 12:47 p.m. on April 13 near Old River Road and Teels Estate Road by the State Highway Patrol. Castillo ran off the road and struck a ditch. He had red, glassy eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. He also was cited for driving without a license and has never been licensed in North Carolina. His blood alcohol level was unavailable.

■ Dominic Anthony Liberto, 23, of Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, was stopped at 3:57 a.m. on April 13 near Evans Street by the Greenville Police Department.  He led the officer on a brief chase.  He refused a breathalyzer test.   

■ Ashley Adrienne Nichols, 27, of 4180 Dudley’s Grant, Apt. A., was stopped at 4:22 p.m. on April 14 near Greenville Boulevard and Elm Street by the Greenville Police Department. She was involved in a wreck and it was determined she was at fault. The crash report was not available. She had red, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol on her breath. Her blood alcohol level was 0.16. 

■ Austin Lee Rice Reed, 21, of Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, was stopped at 6:45 p.m. on April 12 near N.C. 43 and Fourteenth Street, by the State Highway Patrol. He had red, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol on his breath and admitted to drinking. His blood alcohol level was 0.10.

■ Ismet Turkovic, 60, of 730 Savory Place, Apt 224, Heathrow, Fla., was stopped at 9:23 p.m. on April 9 near U.S. 264 and Hooker Road by the Greenville Police Department. His blood alcohol level was 0.18.

■ Kelsi Luanne Weaver, 20, of 310 Granville Drive, was stopped at 11:21 p.m. April 8 near the 78 mile marker in Greenville by the State Highway Patrol. She had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath.  Her blood alcohol level was 0.13. 

■ Daniel Lee Wilson, 34, of 7099 N.C. Highway 33, Grimesland, was stopped at 11:51 p.m. on April 6 near River Branch Road by the State Highway Patrol. He told the trooper he had a needle in his arm and had been using heroin but stopped due to being fired from a job. He appeared drowsy and had glassy eyes. His blood alcohol level was unavailable.
