The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 people to stop the sale of unlawful drugs and associated illegal activity in the Pitt County area, a sheriff’s office news release stated. 

According to the release, Operation Quick Pick  which took place on June 5, consisted of multiple investigations conducted over a relatively short period of time that were designed to achieve the maximum impact in disturbing the flow of illicit substances.

The roundup resulted in the arrest of 25 suspects. The release said more arrests are expected. Arrests and charges to date are listed below.

■ Vincent Anderson, 23, of Ayden is charged with possession of a stolen firearm. He received a $10,000 bond.

■ Tevonte Bryant, 22, of Ayden is charged with possession of a stolen firearm. He received a $10,000 bond.

■ Lionel Lakendrick Cherry, 33, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin and maintaining a dwelling. He received a $10,000 bond.

■ Rodney Coles Jr., 33, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling. He received a $30,000 bond.

■ Christopher Dail, 39, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin. He received a $5,000 bond.

■ Destiny Rajah Davis, 21, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling and felony conspiracy. She received a $10,000 bond.

■ Johnica Edmonds, 46, of Grifton is charged with three counts possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and three counts of maintaining a dwelling. He received a $20,000 bond.

■ Roshon Finch, hometown not listed, 44, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling. He received a $20,000 bond.

■ Demarkus Anhel Forbes, 26, of Greenville is charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and three counts of maintaining a vehicle/dwelling and two felony counts of conspiracy. He received a $35,000 bond.

■ Tony Harris, 44, of Greenville is charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and two counts of maintaining a dwelling. He received a $40,000 bond.

■ Josiah Ronald Haughton,31, of Kinston is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle. He received a $10,000 bond.

■ Michael Ivey, 31, of Winterville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a vehicle. He received a $10,000 bond.

■ Brittney Mone Jenkins, 20, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule I substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II substance and two counts of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle, and two felony counts of conspiracy. She received a $5,000 bond.

■ Bettina Knudsen,34, of Greenville is charged with possession of heroin and possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine. She received a $10,300 bond.

■ Melvin Langley,54, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle. He received a $20,000 bond.

■ Palmer London Lee,19, of Winterville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II, maintaining a vehicle and felony conspiracy. He received a $25,000 bond.

■ Jerry McCotter, 67, of Ayden is charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, and one count of maintaining a dwelling. He received a $30,000 bond.

■Teon Mobley, 31, of Greenville is charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine. He received a $5,000 bond.

■.Courtney Lee Roebuck, 21, of Winterville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II substance, maintaining a dwelling, and felony conspiracy. She received a $10,000 bond.

■ Timothy Smallwood,20, of Bethel is charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and one count of maintaining a vehicle. He received a $20,000 bond.

■ Clarence Taft,39, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine. He received a $10,000 bond.

■ Laquayvaious Tyson, 23, of Farmville is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle. He received a $20,000 bond.

■ Robert Dunn Whitley, 65, of Greenville is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He received a $20,000 bond.

■ Kenneth Earl Williams, 59, of Greenville is charged with possession of marijuana. He received a $1,000 bond.

■ Willie Wooten, 76, of Greenville is charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, one count of maintaining a dwelling and one count of possession of a controlled substance on jail premises. He received a $75,000 bond.
