Pasco-Hernando (Fla.) State College baseball eliminated Pitt Community College on Monday and then completed a championship run Tuesday afternoon at the National Junior College Athletic Association Southeast District Tournament held in Winterville.

No. 3 seed Pasco-Hernando defeated top-seeded Brunswick CC 6-1 for the title and to make the NJCAA Division II World Series as an automatic qualifier. The Florida squad lost 13-8 to PCC on Friday night before piecing together six straight victories.

The winner-take-all final was scoreless through five innings.
