THURSDAY: The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce will host a Business After Hours event from 5:30-7 p.m. at Vidant SurgiCenter, 102 Bethesda Drive, Greenville. Celebrate the great business opportunities in Greenville and Pitt County at Business After Hours. JAN. 15: A Community Unity Breakfast will take place from 7:30-9 a.m. at Harvey Hall, ECU Murphy Center. The keynote speaker will be teacher and author Michael Bonner. JAN. 16: The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce will host its January Power Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Greenville. The guest speaker will be Dr. Mark Stacy, dean of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The cost is $20 per member or $30 per non-member. The registration deadline is Jan. 15. JAN. 20: The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce will host the 2018 Golden Gala from 6-10 p.m. at the Hilton Greenville, 207 S.W Greenville Blvd. The Golden Gala celebrates the talent, accomplishments, and dedication of our members. The Golden Gala will also feature the presentations of the 2017 Citizen of the Year Award, 2017 Ambassador of the Year Award, and 2017 Young Professional of the Year Award.
