Grady-White receives Neptune Awards from Marine Marketers of America


Grady-White Boats received 2017 Neptune awards at the Miami International Boat Show for the Docklines e-newsletter and for the company’s digital content syncing system.

Grady-White Boats and the company’s marketing partner, Adams & Longino Advertising, received the marine industry’s highest marketing and creative honor, the Neptune Award, in the category of “Newsletter,” from the Marine Marketers of America (MMA) during an awards breakfast last month at the Miami International Boat Show.

The team also received honorable mention in the “Marketing Innovation” category for Grady-White’s digital content syncing system.

Sixteen Neptune Awards and 12 honorable mentions were awarded altogether for work done during 2017. More than 160 entries were submitted from across the marine industry, including entries from small accessory manufacturers as well as worldwide brands of engines, boats, and other recreational marine products and services.

The winning newsletter, Docklines, selected from both digital and print newsletter entries, is Grady-White’s nine-year-old monthly e-newsletter. The Docklines design was revamped in 2017 with larger format photos, a new masthead, and a stronger focus on the unique Grady-White lifestyle, “#Grady Life.” Docklines covers useful boating tips, favorite recipes, Grady Club and owner activities, new boats and products, and company news.

Docklines is e-mailed monthly to Grady-White owners and enthusiasts. Free subscriptions are available through the company website gradywhite.com.

“Marketing Innovation” recognized Grady-White’s automatic content syncing system for distributing information (photos, specifications, performance data) across all of Grady-White’s affiliate digital platforms, ensuring the utmost accuracy. This content syncing system accepts information entered from a “mothership” single source (the Grady-White consumer website CMS) and distributes it to iPad sales tools, dealer point of sale tools, and dealer websites. The system is dynamic, designed to accommodate future platforms.
