Johnson earns Mail Design certification

Morgan Printers has announced that Katie Michelle Johnson, a mail technician in their mail house, has received Mail Design Professional certification. Johnson received this award in January 2019 and said she is eager to help customers with questions or suggestions about their mailing pieces so that they can receive appropriate information that will assist in maximizing their return on investment with their mailings.

Johnson has been employed with Morgan Printers in the mail house since October 2018 and has been in print for six years.

”Michelle is certainly an asset to our company,” said Lydia Morgan, CEO. “She is a hard worker and possesses the knowledge and the willingness to meet with our sales reps, designers and customers to help design a mail piece that will assist in greater visibility in their customers mailbox.”

Johnson is a native of Greene County and was a resident of Pitt County for 22 years. She is the mother of three children.

Morgan Printers has been in business for 61 years providing full service marketing, including graphic designs, print, mail and now signage for vehicles, walls and buildings

Futrell celebrates 30 years at CopyPro 

Linda Futrell, sales administration supervisor, is celebrating her 30-year anniversary with CopyPro.

Futrell, who began her career with CopyPro in 1989 as a dispatcher in the service department, works in the company’s corporate office in Greenville. After eight years, she moved from the service department to the set-up delivery department, then was promoted to sales administration supervisor.

“Linda is an integral part of the CopyPro team, sharing her commitment to quality, dedication, and strong work ethic with those around her,” said Anita Sutton, administration manager.

In her current role, Futrell supports the sales team. She oversees all the functions of the sales administration department which includes purchasing equipment, processing contracts and working with various vendors on equipment pricing.

"Linda’s extensive knowledge of CopyPro’s operations and history makes her a tremendous asset to the company. She is committed to both the company and the customers we serve, a very rare combination,” said Jason Jones, COO.

Futrell attended Pitt Community College. She is from Farmville and has been married to her husband, David, for 31 years. She has one daughter and two grandchildren.

Williams joins Towne Insurance as account consultant 

Towne Insurance, ranked by revenue as one of the nation’s largest independent insurance agencies, announced that Todd Williams has joined Towne Insurance as regional commercial consultant for commercial accounts. He will be responsible for commercial accounts, client service, retaining renewals and developing risk management programs to reduce clients total cost of risk.

Williams graduated from East Carolina University with a focus in business management and entrepreneurship. With more than 27 years of experience in the insurance industry, Williams has been awarded numerous company excellence awards. Most recently, Williams was employed with BGA Consultants LLC as an Insurance Consultant where he managed property claims inventory for insurance companies.

“Hiring Todd Williams highlights Towne Insurance’s commitment to provide excellent service in North Carolina,” said Jim Clement, president of Towne Insurance. “As we continue to expand, he will play a valuable role as a commercial consultant and we are excited to have Todd be a part of the Towne Insurance team.”

Williams is based out of Greenville and Kinston. In his personal time, he enjoys doing outdoor activities, and spending time with his friends and family.
