GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Police have charged a Beaufort County repairman with rape after a woman said she was attacked after he fixed her stove.
The Daily Reflector of Greenville reported Wednesday that 33-year-old Arturo Raamos-Velasco of Chocowinity is charged with second-degree rape.
The 20-year-old woman told police that she was attacked about 10 a.m. Monday in her living room with her 15-month-old son present.
Raamos-Velasco is being held without bond at the Pitt County jail. It was not known if he has an attorney.
