The Martin/Pitt Partnership for Children will hold its August board meeting on Aug. 27 from 10 a.m.-noon at the partnership's office at 115 Eastbrook Drive. The public is invited to attend.

Martin/Pitt Partnership for Children, the Smart Start agency for Martin and Pitt counties, provides funding for early childhood, family support and health-related programs. Services focus on children up to 5 years old and their families.
