Is Lou Dobbs running for governor of New Jersey?
The New Jersey Star-Ledger said today that CNN commentator Lou Dobbs might be considering a run for governor of New Jersey, the state where he lives.

The paper called Dobbs at his home, a 300-acre horse farm.
“Dobbs would not say whether he has any such plans. Asked if he wanted to deny it, Dobbs said, ‘I’m just not going to comment,’” the paper said.
A Dobbs’ run for governor would surely be controversial.
The CNN anchor has angered Hispanic groups with his constant coverage of illegal immigration. They say Dobbs’ program is one-sided and offensive to Latinos.
Dobbs has denied charges of xenophobia.

I am puzzled that Americans (of any kind) would not find illegal immigration offensive. I am offended that any American would fight for any illegal immigrant and that any organization would promote them.

I wonder how many people who are so upset about illegal immigration whose grandparents or great grandparents came into this country illegally. My father’s Irish parents did via Canada, and yet he was almost incredibly angry about illegal immigration taking place now. (personally, I oppose illegal immigration, but it seems that a lot of people aren’t upset with the fact that the law is being broken or even that the immigrants might be a tax burden; they just don’t like hispanics).

“They just don’t like hispanics”….how absurd. And how would you know this? Why do folks like you get involved in a debate and then call your opponents racists? By the way a couple of my friends are hispanics and so is my neighbor and they do not support illegals…but are sensitive to folks like yourself who would call them racist.
Also there is nothing wrong with your dad getting angry…anger and action is how things get changed here in the USA.

Viva Lou Dobbs! Awesome, hope he does. I’d vote for him if I lived in Jersey.

Lou Dobbs is not against immigrants just people who are here illegally. They need to become citizens and pay taxes just like the rest of us! Also our native language is English!!!
