GOP office out of tickets
A reporter at the Pitt County GOP headquarters has learned the office has given out all its tickets for Tuesday’s appearance by Sarah Palin.
Party officials had told The Daily Reflector that tickets for the vice presidential candidate’s visit would become available on Saturday.
A line of people has been at the Commerce Street office placing names on a waiting list in hopes more tickets become available.
The office had not been answering its phone. No explanation is available yet on why tickets became available before Saturday, though it likely can be chalked up to the quick-changing nature of presidential political campaigns.
Decisions and action in campaigns often out-pace the lines of communication.
Palin is scheduled to appear on Tuesday at East Carolina University’s Minges Coliseum.

Unlike many citizens of Greenville, I’m very disappointed that there are no remaining tickets to see Sarah Palin. I believe that the number of Palin supporters in Greenville could possible fill Dowdey-Ficklen Stadium. How about we have a change of venue?

I am on the waiting list and there is a rumor that 60,000 people have already requested tickets and the state GOP will be busing a lot of people in as well. Palin is a bigger rock star than Barrack, how many did he get into Minges 10 or 12,000, enough said.

Palin is a breath of fresh air to the political scene. So many women are so jealous of her and for good reason i.e. Governor, mother, gorgeous, feminine, conservative etc. She’ll change Washington for the better working under MCcain in the trenches. I’ll even bet she’s a Steely Dan fan too. From the Kennedy Space Center…

I am so angry. I was so looing forward to getting tickets to this. How can they say Sat and then give them all away before that? Seems really unfair!

Obama is a breath of fresh air to the political scene. So many men are so jealous of him and for good reason i.e. Senator, father, gorgeous, masculine, liberal etc. He’ll change Washington for the better!

Melbabe you’re a typical liberal democrate. You need others to do the thinking for ya.

Ed, there’s no ‘e’ on democrat. Perhaps you need others to do your spelling for ya? My post was simply illuminating the ridiculousness of the original comment, mmkay? McPain/Failin have no chance of winning at this point, so it’s entirely moot anyway.
