Palin appeals to large crowd

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin wasted no time appealing to the Greenville crowd.

Moments after taking the stage, Palin said it was a pleasure to be in Sportstown USA and commended East Carolina for its two upset victories in football weeks ago.

“Sounds like Greenville knows a little something about how to turn an underdog into a victor,” Palin said.

In the early going, Palin has spent considerable time criticizing Obama for looking backward, cutting off funding for troops and using politics to promote his own career.

She hailed Sen. John McCain as the leader this country needs because of his military service and willingness to cut government spending.

“He is the only candidate running for president with a track record of actually making things happen,” Palin said of McCain.

The event was very lack-luster, Minges was not even full. I left in disappointment. Watching McCain debate tonight just push me more and more towards voting for Obama.

I’m disappointed to read that there was available space in Minges. I was out of town when tickets were distributed in my town. In Greenville, the GOP Victory Office phone message said all tickets were gone. A police officer waved my vehicle away from the area, saying there was no parking there, but never mentioning that space might be available inside. People who were in Greenville and wanted to see Palin were turned away because of the unavailability of tickets and no available information about possibly still getting in or even viewing in an overflow area. It’s frustrating missing an event that a person wanted to attend when there was room.

My parents back in North Carolina told me today of the siting of Sarah Palin in a ECU t-shirt… HOW DISGUSTING!!! And now I learn she violated the humble grounds of my alma mater. But I guess that’s what America is all about… Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited Columbia University and now Palin at ECU.

Many thanks to Sara Palin for visiting N.C. Her freshness of Republician politics is welcomed to N.C. by many Dem’s and Repub’s. I have many friends that have voted Dem in past who want NO PART of the “Vote for Change—LIES” by Barack Obama. That vote is a vote for CHANGE, a vote for Socialism- I hope you like it. Too many people listen and believe main street media which is being twisted into a hypnotic state to vote Democratic to politicise their agenda and the croonies that own these media tanks. When voting, take a step back, think about everything and get the big picture. VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE… I have faith in many of you that everyone hasn’t been hypnotized.
