Black Beard's Guns opens in Farmville

Monday, December 15, 2008

Black Beard's Guns, a specialty gun shop, has opened at 3695 E. Wilson St. in Farmville.

In addition to selling guns, Black Beard's Guns also teaches the North Carolina concealed carry class, self-defense courses and reloading classes. Individualized instruction is also available for several courses.

Acording to owner Jimmy Hughes, Black Beard's is one of the few area gun shops with a gunsmith on site to perform repairs and enhancements to firearms. Hughes also said if an item a customer wants is not in stock, it can usually be obtained within one week.

Black Beard's is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Call 753-2800 for more information.
