Carolyn Hriso honored as Entrepreneur of the Year in Raleigh

Carolyn Hriso, team leader and managing broker with Keller Williams Realty in Greenville, has been awarded the 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Raleigh Regional Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Hriso is a former real estate agent in Cary.

The annual award recognizes a real estate member who fully exercises their potential as an entrepreneur and real estate industry leader, and who shares their time, talent and expertise with others in the profession and in the community.

Hriso serves as coach in her office, helping agents build their real estate businesses and careers. She is an instructor with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission and has taught pre-licensing at St. Augustine’s College and post licensing at Wake Technical Institute, both in Raleigh. She teaches ethics and other courses for Superior Real Estate School in Charlotte.

“We are excited to have a candidate who meets the qualifications for this wonderful award,” C. Pat Daley, governor for the N.C. Women’s Council of Realtors said. “We appreciate everything Carolyn has done in her career both in real estate and in the community.”

The Women’s Council of Realtors is a nationwide community of 14,000 real estate professionals in 300 chapters who include many of the best and brightest in the business. The Raleigh Regional Chapter was established to be the local source of education and business tools focused on the needs of women real estate entrepreneurs at all stages of development. WCR is an affiliate of the National Association of realtors and is headquartered in Chicago.
