Coffman's Mens Wear is running a special shoe trade-in promotion Wednesday and Thursday to benefit STRIVE.
During the Martin Dingman and Allen Edmonds Trunk Show, Coffman's will give customers who bring in a pair of worn men's dress shoes $40 off the purchase of a new pair of shoes. This promotion will last only two days, and all the shoes collected will be donated to STRIVE.
STRIVE is a nationally recognized workforce initiative committed to individual community empowerment through employment. They believe that every individual deserves an opportunity to lead a fulfilling, self-sufficient life and that the key to achieving this is gainful employment and career advancement. STRIVE's mission is to help men and women achieve financial independence, to assist others in adopting the STRIVE model, and to encourage effective employment policies and practices nationwide.
"With fall upon us and winter right around the corner, this is a great opportunity for our customers to clean out their closets and help those less fortunate," John Coffman, co-president of Coffman's Mens Wear, said. "STRIVE was the perfect organization to receive the shoe donations we collect."
