Several months ago I checked our long-dormant Twitter account, @reflectornews, to see how many followers we had.
To my surprise, several hundred had stayed with us even though automated updates had been severed more than a year before. At least one follower was frustrated.
She tweeted how she wished her local paper had an active feed so she would know what is going on in her hometown. Like many people, Twitter was her primary source of information.
