BYH to the parents whining about the bus stops. First of all your kids will be fine, if they use their heads. My kids walk to school everyday, I also walked a couple miles to the bus stop when I was young, then when I got to high school and didn't have a car I walked two miles and nothing ever happened. If it's raining that's what umbrellas and rain coats are for. While waiting at the bus stop if they don't have the common sense to step out of the middle of the road into someone's yard when there's no sidewalk that's their problem, its called natural selection, or survival of the fittest. Stop sheltering your kids and making them lazy by giving them the mentality every one is supposed to cater to them!! That's what is wrong with kids today. Not everyone is a winner, you have to work hard for what you want in this life and were teaching them they can just breeze through with no effort and that's ok, they won't fail their grade if they make bad grades and shouldn't pass, and they still get a trophy after losing a ball game. It will also be nice to be able to drive somewhere and not get stuck behind a school bus that stops at every house on the street. I've always thought this was ridiculous and a waste of taxpayer money. Guess the one's complaining about this change don't worry about paying taxes.

BYH to those enforcement departments(Fire and Police) who fail miserably to enforce handicap and fire lane parking in Greenville,NC. I have watched Food Lion Grocery Store parking lot located on S. Memorial Drive in front of Lowes several times a week. I see healthy people use these marked spaces and abuse them terribly. Who is responsible for the lack of enforcement of these violations. Just watch for an hour the people who violate these laws. How easy is it to obtain & transfer these so-call handicap stickers from one vehicle to another? P.S. Don't forget the fire lane misuse by ignoring the signs.

A big bless your heart to the northern transplant who was offended by a southerner's manners or lack thereof. There's a real role reversal for you. We really appreciate the northern transplants who think that because we speak with a different accent we're all ignorant rednecks. We further appreciate your constant reminders that are no decent restaurants here, as well as your unsolicited instruction on how to drive.
