I guess it wasn’t enough for the Grinch to steal Christmas, so this year, he stole Thanksgiving, too.
If he didn’t steal it, he at least mowed down a couple of old ladies with his shopping cart while trying to get the doorbuster price on it.
We were still trying digest our Thanksgiving meal when the reports started coming in of shopping tactics that were distasteful, to say the least. In New York, shoppers got angry that a store failed to open at midnight, broke in and stole clothes. In California, a woman looking for a bargain on video games sprayed other shoppers with pepper spray. In West Virginia, shoppers walked around or even over a dying man.
