HOUSTON — Touchdowns in Conference USA are like ants at a picnic — there are never just one or two.

Despite what it might seem like in the first five minutes or so of virtually every C-USA football game, soon enough the touchdowns will start marching in, one after another.

This year, East Carolina stopped battling that trend and joined the feeding frenzy, trading the ball-control offense of former head coach Skip Holtz for a truly C-USA-esque attack with the hire of head coach Ruffin McNeill.
