Pitt County 4-H recently held its annual achievement night at the Agricultural Center.
Jimmy Garris and Marian McLawhorn attended along with 12 4-H clubs. Awards were given out for volunteering, presentations and project record books. Pitt County collected 120 project record books and sent 43 of them to the state judging level.
In addition, new county council officers were inducted, including Nathan Moore, president; Danielle Henderson, vice-president; Hannah Cooke, secretary-treasurer, and Jameson Burgstead, reporter.
