Disaster response

The Progressive National Baptist Convention and Focus Group North of the River, Pitt County, will hold a workshop on improving the community’s response to natural and man-made disasters at 6 p.m. at New Covenant Church.

The effort with the American Red Cross will explore volunteer participation, specialized training, communications strategies and resources.
