Voter information program

The Pitt County Branch NAACP will hold its mass meeting at 6 p.m. at Zion Chapel United American Free Will Baptist Church, Ayden. Linda Coleman, a Greenville native and a candidate for state lieutenant governor, will speak. “Voter’s Empowerment 2012” is the theme to educate the community on changes made in districts after new lines were drawn, the importance of registering and the power of the ballot.
