Pugh named Shriner Master

Stacey Pugh of Pitt County recently was appointed as the First Ceremonial Master for Sudan Shriners at its annual meeting and election of officers. The ceremonial title is given to one of the appointed officers of a Shrine Temple.

Pugh and his wife Danette live in Grimesland and have two sons. He is associated with Pugh Tire Co., a family owned business in Greenville.

Sudan Shriners is headquartered in New Bern and is one of the largest of the 194 Shrine Temples. Temples are located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Germany, and Puerto Rico. Sudan has approximately 5500 members from Wake County to the Atlantic Ocean and from South Carolina to Virginia with 40 individual Shrine Clubs in Sudan jurisdiction.
