Here is some footage that would be of interest to many history buffs, taken when film technology was still in its infancy. I saw this Market Street footage on 60 Minutes and just had to share it, or at least make it accessible for every time I'd like to look at it, which will be several more times, I'm sure. It says 1905, but best estimates put this footage at 1906, just days before the big San Francisco earthquake that destroyed most all of these buildings, and took many of these people too, I'm sure.
