Two murder suspects appeared Tuesday in court, where a November trial date was set in one case and a bond was significantly reduced in the other.

A trial date of Nov. 4 was set during a murder status hearing held at the Pitt County Detention Center for Eric Dominique Holloway, 25, who is accused of killing a wrecker service owner on Sept. 18, 2010, after his vehicle was towed.

Walter Clayton Malloy Sr., 59, owner of Clay’s Wrecker Service, was shot through his left arm and abdomen, and his body was discovered shortly afterward in the impound lot behind the Chestnut Street office.
