Pitt County sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday arrested a Greenville man on multiple child pornography charges.

Larry Leland Fiero, 25, of 107 N. Oak St., Apt. 3, used an Internet file sharing network to distribute and receive images of minors engaged in sexual activity, arrest warrants said.

The Internet Crimes Against Children task force started an investigation into Fiero’s activities on Nov. 16, said Christy Wallace, spokeswoman for the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.
