FBI seeks help in robberies

The FBI is seeking local assistance to identify a suspect connected to Jan. 6 and Jan. 27 bank robberies in Creswell and Colerain.

The Charlotte Division of the FBI issued a news release and surveillance photos of the same suspect robbing the East Carolina Bank at 305 Seventh St., Creswell, on Jan. 6 and the RBC Bank at 113 South Main St., Colerain, on Jan. 27.

The release said that the suspect was armed with a silver revolver in both of the robberies.
