Reports of a gas station hold-up, home invasion, guns theft, knifepoint robbery and a mugging overnight Tuesday into Wednesday have Greenville detectives “aggressively” investigating any possible connections.

The robbery string occurred from 10:15 p.m. Tuesday to 3:45 a.m. Wednesday and included five incidents. Three reportedly happened near East Carolina University, and two involved three suspects.

An employee at the Trade Wilco station, 612 S.W. Greenville Blvd., told police a man armed with a handgun entered the store about 10:15 p.m. and demanded money from the cash register.

And Law enforcement cannot ..

get a valid suspect. Wow, this is news? Get a grip and do your job GPD. Enough

he hit 4 stores in 1 week thusfar

this is also the same discription of the robber from Family Dollar on Worthington Road in Winterville, Sunday night! black hoodie, blue bandana and driving a white 4 door Explorer, like 1998 model. If the Wilco Hess on corner has parking lot cameras they should have caught a pictureof this vehicle cause he went in and out the parking lot for atleast an hour (8pm-9pm). he traveled from Wilco Hess to Family Dollar and up and down that side street beside Family Dollar repeatedly for an hour. I thought he was security for Family Dollar the way he was riding back and forth. i thought he was watching me cause i parked by vacuum hose talkin on my cell phone. Even after he robbed the place he still rode back by the place from the side street and turned right onto Old Tar Rd. smh it is soooo sad. looks like he has robbed 4 places this week.... Family Dollar Worthington Rd(Winterville)on Sunday evening, Wilco Hess (gville blvd) on Tuesday evening (parking explorer next door at Outback Steakhouse), Dollar General(kinston) Wednesday afternoon, and Hwy.258 Kangaroo (Kinston) Wednesday evening. Looks like tonight may be his night to strike again... they need to have patrols sitting on main hwys for this explorer cause he had to go thru winterville to get to kinston at some point but he went unseen!!
