Greenville police on Thursday announced an arrest in the shooting death of an 18-year-old at a private student housing complex on Dec. 4.
Calvin Jaquaveba King, 17, of Ayden is charged with an open count of murder in the death of Demetrius Boone, according a news release issued at 8:30 a.m. by the Greenville Police Deparment.
Detectives from the major crimes unit obtained an arrest warrant against King earlier this week, the news release said. King was located and apprehended about 8 p.m. Wednesday by the US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.
