An early morning motorcycle crash killed a Greenville man Saturday at Mobleys Bridge Road and Ivy Road, according to the State Highway Patrol.

Lee Carey, 37, of 212 Sumrell St., died at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville shortly after the crash, which occurred about 3 a.m., troopers said.

Carey was traveling west on Mobleys Bridge Road east of Greenville, went through the T intersection at Ivy Road, struck a ditch and went airborne. Troopers say the motorcycle struck a house.
