The Greenville Police Department has arrested two men suspected in the Jan. 29 assault and robbery of a man on walking Fifth Street near ECU’s campus.

Alton Antonio Evely, 20, and Dontavius Cox, 20, were captured by downtown surveillance cameras as they followed the victim east on Fifth Street on the night of the crime.


On Friday, Detective J.A. Baxter of the department’s Major Crimes Unit developed information that identified the men in the video recording, according to a news release issued Monday.
