1 Comment | Leave a Comment

Greenville police arrested two men Wednesday morning after spotting them trying to carry away equipment from a business on West 14th Street, a news release said.

Officer Adam Leggett was patrolling the Spruce Street area about 7 a.m. when he located the men near Electric Motor Sales & Service, 1310 W. 14th St., the release said.

Officer Leggett detained the men and recovered a steel motor dolly, which is used to lift and transport large electric motors.  Further investigation by officers Meghan Robbins and Kyle Gaines revealed damage to the chain link fence of the business, along with evidence of a break-in and larceny.
