A man found dead at a Greenville apartment complex in November had been shot several times, police announced Thursday, and his family is offering a reward in the case.
Michael Roy Burgwardt, 64, 107 Essex Drive, Winterville, was killed between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and 9:40 a.m. Nov. 20 in Apartment 4 at 212 Summer Place Drive. Until Thursday, police had not released the cause of death.
Burgwardt used the apartment as an office while managing the complex, police said. He was last seen alive at about 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 19. He was found by a 34-year-old woman who lives in a neighboring apartment.

This is how the GPD operates- absolutely stupid
They don't give out information because it may "impede the investigation".....RIGHT!!
They fool around for 2 or 3 months , telling the public nothing, after the case gets cold and they get nowhere
THEN
" detectives want to hear from members of the community who can provide additional information about this case."
And the public says the heck with you police- where was the information from your side when we could have helped? NO, you were too important to tell us anything
You, the police, wouldn't tell us anything when the case was fresh so now you want our help?
The heck with your secretive nonsense- figure it out yourself....
DUMB. but thats GPD in all their investigations- stupid communication with the public
and they wonder why nobody trusts them!!!!
