A .357-caliber handgun was stolen on Tuesday from the front seat of a car at CiCi’s Pizza after the man left his doors unlocked and windows down, Greenville police said.
Greenville officers responded at 7:51 p.m. to 425 S.E. Greenville Blvd., where the victim reported that he removed his pistol from his hip and put it on his front seat before entering the restaurant, according to a news release issued Wednesday by the department.
The man’s car windows were down and his doors unsecured, the release said. He told police he noticed two men sitting in a blue four-door car watch as he entered the restaurant.
