An extensive investigation into trafficking heroin and cocaine in eastern North Carolina resulted in an arrest Wednesday, according to Greenville police.

Nigel Omar Gray, 33, of 6805 Woodbend Drive, Raleigh was arrested Wednesday as a result of the investigation conducted by the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force in cooperation with DEA-Raleigh, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the Goldsboro Police Department.

Gray was charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine and conspiracy to traffic heroin, according to a news release issued Saturday by the Greenville Police Department. He was placed under a $1,250,000 secured bond in the Pitt County Detention Center.
