A dispute ended with a Greenville-area man suffering severe lacerations, according to a Pitt County Sheriff's Office report.

Deputies were called to the 1700 block of Robert Drive, near Keith Drive because of a reported dispute involving a handgun. They discovered a 31-year-old man with severe lacerations.
