A Pitt County man suffered internal injuries after being robbed near Lake Glenwood, according to reports issued Wednesday by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.

The 26-year-old man was attacked while walking along Eastern Pines Road near Lake Glenwood at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, the report said.

After the assault, the suspect took a wedding ring valued at $150, a necklace valued at $50 and $325 cash from the victim.
