Crime: Man robbed in Walmart parking lot

Greenville police responded to an armed robbery in the Walmart parking lot on Monday night.

Two suspects approached a 24-year-old man and robbed him of his belongings at gunpoint at 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd. between 7:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.


The suspects, who used a semi-automatic handgun, stole an HTC smart phone valued at $400, about $100 in cash, a gold chain necklace and a gold bracelet valued together at $1,800.

This is why folks do not want to shop anymore at this site. Supposedly cameras in lot and "rent a cop" which obviously failed in this case, you think? Thanks Gville for being Ghetto Vegas cause that is what we have become. Sure the GPD is scratching their arse to follow up. NOT they never do. Wish the dude had a concealed weapon and would have blown them away
